Kudos to Chris
Chris Ryan graduated from Boston State College with a degree in biology, chemistry, and the Boston VA Hospital School of medical technology with a degree in medical technology. She has years of experience in the health care field and customer service working for the Boston Veterans Hospital, Brockton Hospital, and Harvard Community Health in their laboratories and in supervisory capacities and as the lab safety officer.
Chris was introduced to sales by detailing pharmaceuticals for a New York based pharmaceutical company. She realized that she loved sales and was good at it but wanted a more local selling base. In 1997 she decided to take the real estate license course and exam since she and her husband Bill had invested and managed their own real estate investments for years.
After her first year in Real Estate Chris has been a top producing agent and appreciates the opportunity to serve her customer and clients with their real estate needs. She invests her time and energy providing service that exceeds their expectations. As a result, her valued customers and clients refer their family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to Chris when buying or selling and for other real estate needs.
Chris is a dedicated agent committed to building lifelong real estate relationships one customer and client at a time.
She has resided in Marshfield with her husband Bill since 1976. Her 2 children have graduated from private Universities. Son Billy, graduated from Northeastern University with a Criminal Justice degree. He is employed as a homicide investigator for the Suffolk County DA’s Office. Daughter Lisa graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden Connecticut with a degree in Health Sciences and Business. She is employed as an inside sales and client service rep. with Toxikon in Bedford Mass.
Chris is a former member and chairman of the Marshfield Board of Health so is well versed in the subject of Title 5 and even gave input to the new version while on the board in the late 80s and early 90s. Environmentally conscientious she also helped implement the towns first Household Hazardous Waste day while a member of the League of Women Voters. This collection day continues through her initiatives later at town meeting where she proposed a permanent line item which was approved by town meeting voters. Currently she is a member of the Scituate Rotary. Her interests also include walking, art, rug hooking and is a member of the Duxbury rug hookers. Chris was one of the first members of the Marshfield Conservation Commission’s “Adopt a Parcel Program where in 2003 she adopted and currently maintains a flower bed at Veterans Park in Marshfield as a community service project. “It is not easy to maintain a garden where you must bring the water to the spot. During the summer months my car constantly transports buckets of water” says Chris. It’s a big time commitment but it’s one little thing I can do to honor the all the Veterans. My theme is red, white, and blue for the Vets. “However, often the animals eat one color entire color so I seldom have all three colors at once” Chris laments. Chris was seriously injured in 2004 and tended the garden while on crutches.
Chris is a two time Boston Marathon finished who finishes what she starts.
